Here at Fork and Field Catering, we're passionate about the food we serve. We believe that the best meals start with the finest ingredients, and luckily for us, Cheshire is full of wonderful fresh produce. 

A Taste of the Season

There’s something magical about eating food that’s grown nearby, and we love to create menus that change with the seasons, showcasing what’s at its peak. 

In spring, we might feature delicate asparagus from local farms, or perhaps some tender new potatoes. Summer brings juicy berries, perfect for our desserts, and of course, those gorgeous Cheshire strawberries that are simply divine. Autumn is all about hearty root vegetables, and come winter, we turn to comforting dishes featuring seasonal greens and warming spices.

Think of a summer wedding, with guests enjoying platters of fresh salads, bursting with colour and flavour, all thanks to local growers. It’s all about creating menus that reflect the time of year. All of our menus can be tweaked - or completely redesigned to be unique to you and your event, whether that's your wedding or a large party of work event.

The Local Heroes

We’re lucky to be surrounded by some truly fantastic producers. There are the farmers who grow the most wonderful vegetables, the bakers who bake bread, and the cheesemakers who craft award-winning cheeses. 

We work closely with these local heroes, building relationships and supporting their businesses. It’s important to us that we know where our ingredients come from and that we’re doing our bit to support the local economy.

For example, we might source our free-range eggs from a farm just down the road, or our beef from a butcher who uses traditional methods. You can really taste the difference when ingredients are produced with care and attention. We feel it’s our job to bring these lovely products to your tables.

From Field to Fork

The journey from field to fork is something we take seriously. We believe in minimising food miles and reducing waste. That’s why we source as much as possible from within Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We’re also committed to sustainable practices, such as composting food waste and using eco-friendly packaging. It’s about being responsible and doing our bit for the planet.

We try to use whole ingredients, reducing processing and allowing the natural flavours to shine. Our chefs are skilled at creating dishes that are both delicious and sustainable. It’s a challenge, but one we enjoy.

Cheshire has a rich culinary heritage, and we love to incorporate traditional dishes into our menus. Think of Cheshire cheese, with its crumbly texture and distinctive flavour, or perhaps some locally made oatcakes, perfect with a dollop of jam. We also love to explore the diverse range of cuisines that have influenced Cheshire’s food scene. From the hearty stews of the industrial north to the delicate pastries of the market towns, there’s so much to discover. We use these influences to create menus that are both familiar and exciting.
